SOLID ROCK MISSIONARY CHURCH

The Lord God is perfect and worthy of worship.

God is perfect in all ways and all the time. He defines love and is perfect in love. He

created the physical universe, animals, and people. But He didn’t stop there. When people believed Satan over God and tried to become like God, people lost their God-given dominion over the Earth. People were separated from God and creation ceased to operate as God intended. So, God carried out His plan to restore people and bring them into a relationship with Himself at His great expense because He loves us. We respond to His love by expressing our love for Him in worship. No flashy bands here, just heart-to-heart worship.

People are important.

God created people in His image to be in relationship with Him and with other people. So, we gather regularly to welcome God and share life with one another. We begin Sunday morning with time to catch up and, together, enjoy morning coffee with great food. We continue as a group to worship God and learn about Him through His Word. We invite children to learn in fun and age-appropriate ways in areas prepared for them.

We lead a community-wide youth group for young people to gather, experience God in worship, and learn about God from Scripture. We come together in small groups midweek to develop friendships and support one another through the life journeys we each encounter.

We pray regularly for people as needs are shared. And we connect with people in our community to let them know we care, and God has a purpose for them. People are important.

Scripture is God's message to us.

God communicates with people. His desire is for us to know Him, His plans, and His desire for our everyday situations. One way He communicates is through the Bible, His Word, to us. So, we learn from His Word with the desire to know God and honor Him. The teaching is designed to equip believers with truth and is more than a surface level, motivational message. We dig deep to learn about God’s message for people who believe Him. We learn about current events in relation to Biblical prophecy, and how God is drawing people to Himself today. God’s Word is His Word to us.
